Car Audio Direct are one of the UKs largest authorised internet dealers, with over 100,000 satisfied online customers. We are the retail division of CAD Distribution Ltd based in Oxfordshire, we have been serving the public online since 1999.
The History
Car Audio Direct was founded in September 1999. Our company already had a proven 20 year track record as successful automotive accessory retailers and saw an opening in the UK car audio market. At the time most other traditional mail order retailers in the market seemed only interested in pushing products without any form of backup. We saw that by providing a unique blend of marketing, advertising, IT infrastructure, customer service and, of course, the right products at the right prices, we could create a niche. Car Audio Direct was born.
Premises
From Car Audio Direct’s facility in Oxfordshire our dedicated team provide sales, marketing, technical and after sales service via our main office. We maintain and host our own ecommerce site and use a modern I.T infrastructure to ensure efficient and professional response.
Our enterprise level mail order system offers batch and real time credit card processing, together with PAF assistance and multi-order channels that include telephone, mail, fax, e-mail, web and batch processing. Our Web Relay system is a fully automated web sales processing system. Orders are processed seamlessly throughout the day and maybe processed either in real-time or in batches. Our sophisticated despatch system utilises bar code technology to ensure the right products are released on time quickly and efficiently.

Car Audio Direct works with all the leading audio manufacturers including Clarion, Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer, JVC and Alpine plus a number of smaller specialist manufacturers. Most of us have at some point encountered a salesperson that pushes products onto the customer.
