The F790 dash cam from Thinkware uses the CMOS Imaging sensor to allow the dash cam to record clean & crisp 1080p Full HD footage, even at nighttime via its Super Night Vision 3.0 technology.

Super night vision 3.0 with HDR
Record night-time drives with true colours and minimal noise thanks to Thinkware’s latest advancements in low-light recording technology that surpasses its predecessors’ nighttime performance. The dash cam uses a combination of Digital Overlap High Dynamic Range (DOL HDR) and Noise Reduction technology to effectively reduce noise and lens flare effects that typically affect nighttime footage.

Park mode
Smart parking mode prevents heat-related damage by automatically switching to a low-power mode if the temperature inside the vehicle gets too high. The dash cam records incidents only until its operating temperature is safe again to resume motion detection or timelapse parking mode.

Energy saving 2.0
Energy saving 2.0 in parking surveillance mode records footage triggered by impacts only, allowing the F790 to reduce its power consumption and remain in parking mode for a longer duration.

Time lapse
Time Lapse in parking mode records footage at 2fps, enabling the dash cam to continuously record long periods of parking surveillance without increasing power consumption.

Anti-file corruption
Anti-file corruption technology with Format Free 2.0 improves the reliability of your Thinkware memory card and extends its lifespan by minimizing the risk of lost footage due to bad blocks and data corruption, thus also eliminating the need to format the card periodically.

HEVC (High-Efficiency Video Coding) format can compress high-resolution video files 1.7 times more efficiently than the Advanced Video Coding (AVC) format, minimizing video file size while still retaining the original video quality.
