5″ (130MM) TWO-WAY COMPONENT KIT

This car audio kit combines high-performance and easy integration. Focal’s famous inverted dome tweeter is now an integral component of this coaxial kit to provide excellent linearity. The Mylar inverted dome tweeter comes with two types of frame: one for surface mounting and one for ‘flush’ mounting. There’s also a third solution for optimal integration, which consists of removing the tweeters from their flush-mounting frames so they can be installed in the vehicle’s factory locations.

The high power handling of these kits, combined with their high sensitivity, will provide you with a high-performance system using the factory head unit or an amplifier.

TECHNOLOGY

The car audio kits in the Auditor line feature high-end technology: they still have a 1" (25mm) voice coil on a kapton frame, a powerful 31/3" (85mm) magnet, a matt black polypropylene cone and butyl suspension...but the new feature for 2017 is our famous inverted dome tweeter, a key representative of Focal’s core values. The Mylar used for the dome allows for a combination of extremely low mass, minimal directivity and excellent linearity in the high end, something which is unprecedented in this price range.

DESIGN

The design of the steel baskets is clearly inspired by the Performance ranges, recognisable by the double arms. The design of the tweeter can be easily installed in the vehicle’s factory locations.

ACCESSORIES
New grilles have also entered the scene (except on the RCX-570 kit). Their relatively flat shape and mesh structure provide excellent dispersion, and succeed in reconciling aesthetics, optimal integration and high performance.
